Senior Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Manager to join our team at Brandon University. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing a client portfolio, overseeing financial guidance, and ensuring timely planning and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review corporate tax filings and manage client relationships
- Prepare tax returns and provide tax planning advice
- Stay updated on accounting standards and tax law changes
- Conduct thorough reviews of working paper files
- Support and monitor the performance of direct reports
Requirements:
- CPA designation or close to designation
- 5+ years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in public practice
- Graduate from a recognized accounting program
- Review engagement license highly preferred
- Proficient in tax accounting practices and CRA regulations
- Experience in managing and supporting junior staff
- Proficient in various accounting software
- Excellent verbal and written skills for interacting with clients and staff
