Job Title: Assistant Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Ontario Inc. in a permanent position.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for determining the type of services to be offered and implementing operational procedures. This role will also involve conducting performance reviews, costing products and services, and organizing and maintaining inventory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Cost products and services
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation
  • Leading/instructing individuals
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Provide customer service
  • Plan and manage budgets
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Inspect workplaces for safety or health hazards
  • Ensure accuracy of completed time sheets, payroll and other summaries
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations
  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Ability to multitask
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and reliability
  • Team player
Work Environment:

The Assistant Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. The role requires standing for extended periods and working under pressure.
