Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing procurement support and leading procurement projects across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide procurement support as required and identify opportunities for improvement in procurement processes.
- Lead procurement projects, ensuring adherence to Supply Chain processes and monitoring project progress.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, customers, raw material suppliers, and transportation service providers to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Support all purchasing activities, including communication of shipment tracking information to various departments and external locations.
- Monitor and update Purchase Orders in the company ERP to ensure accurate requirements are met.
- Work closely with Supply Chain teams to ensure a steady flow of information throughout the supply chain.
- Review and resolve purchasing issues, collaborating with the Purchasing Supervisor.
- Participate in the sharing of aircraft on ground (AOG) phone and manage AOG transactions on an assigned rotation basis.
- Meet department KPIs and procure 25-50 lines per day where possible.
- Ensure compliance with Coulson Group of Companies procedures and standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required.
- 2-3 years of aviation purchasing experience preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in a senior procurement role preferred.
- Technical knowledge preferred.
- Experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel).
- Detail-oriented and able to handle stress well.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
