Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team at Slave Lake Inn and Conference Centre LTD. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building and maintaining a safe and clean environment for our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as operating vacuum cleaners and emptying trash cans.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Perform minor repairs and troubleshoot electrical or mechanical systems to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities.
  • Painting and Decorating: Perform painting tasks and maintain the appearance of our building.
  • Housekeeping: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, and maintain a clean and safe environment throughout the building.
  • Supervision: Supervise other workers and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 2-3 years or equivalent experience in a similar field.
  • Availability: Shift or on-call availability.
  • Qualifications: Legally able to work in Canada, prior experience in a similar field, and completed post-secondary education.
