About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Family Caregiver to join our team at Antonina Salvo. As a Family Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting their dignity and comfort.
  • Medication Administration: Safely administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, ensuring accurate dosages and adherence to treatment plans.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship, engaging clients in activities that promote mental and social well-being.
  • Exercise and Mobility: Assist clients with regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain physical mobility and flexibility.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
  • Work Setting: Room and board provided, working in the employer's/client's home
  • Language: English or French
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
