Senior Application Support Specialist

Alteo Inc. is in search of a skilled Senior Application Support Specialist to enhance our operations. In this capacity, you will be tasked with delivering assistance to operational teams in addressing incidents and overseeing the Support team to guarantee that contractual obligations are fulfilled.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently and effectively resolve incidents.
  • Provide support to N2/N3 operations teams in managing production-related incidents.
  • Analyze incidents and propose necessary actions for resolution.
  • Ensure thorough development and documentation for incident resolution.
  • Uphold compliance with commitments and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Assist operations teams with production roll-outs and validation processes.
  • Supervise on-site consultants to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Be available for on-call duties as required outside of standard working hours.
Candidate Profile:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
  • Familiarity with the electronic payment sector is advantageous.
  • Proficient in C, PL/SQL, Shell scripting, Unix server environments, and testing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of network certification and J2EE HTML frameworks.
  • Strong customer focus coupled with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and demonstrate initiative when necessary.
