Role Overview

As a Mobile HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for the operation, inspection, and maintenance of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across various facilities. Your goal will be to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment while minimizing downtime through proactive maintenance and record-keeping. You will also conduct inspections and repairs on both the interior and exterior of properties, including structural elements, fixtures, and lighting systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work orders for mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems.
  • Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC systems and associated equipment, as well as plumbing and electrical distribution systems.
  • Conduct facility inspections and due diligence, reporting on conditions affecting client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, ensuring safety and operational continuity.
  • Prepare and submit management reports detailing findings and recommending necessary actions.
  • Familiarize yourself with equipment and operational methods, including building automation and fire/life safety systems.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Be available for after-hours support as needed.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Perform other operational tasks typical of the Mobile Engineer role.

Required Qualifications

  • Universal EPA 608 Certification.
  • At least four years of technical experience in building engineering, with a strong focus on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and climb ladders up to 30 ft.
  • Willingness to perform on-call duties and overtime as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of MEP/HVAC system design and application.
  • Experience with work order management and CMMS technology.
  • Background in service roles related to commercial facilities.

Compensation

The estimated total compensation for this position ranges from $87,443.00 to $109,304.00 annually, inclusive of bonuses where applicable. This range is an estimate and may vary based on qualifications and market data.
