About This Role

At METAFOR Architecture Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Architect to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading projects from the pursuit stage through construction completion and ongoing client maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring successful project delivery and exceeding client expectations.
  • Design Management: Oversee the design process, developing contract documents and services during construction, and ensuring high-quality products.
  • Project Management: Manage project scope, schedules, and financials, maintaining accurate records and ensuring profitability.
  • Client Management: Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations, and delivering projects that meet their objectives.
  • Team Development: Provide mentorship and training to junior staff, promoting knowledge sharing and growth within the team.
  • Business Development: Collaborate with Principals to secure new business opportunities, build relationships, and drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in architecture, with eligibility for registration with AAA.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to lead teams and make independent decisions.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with clients, consultants, and team members.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical background in Revit, with a high level of creativity, innovative thinking, and problem-solving.
