Senior DevOps Automation Engineer

MobileComm Professionals, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Automation Engineer to join our growing team.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing and implementing automated processes that streamline the entire software development lifecycle, encompassing testing, deployment, and maintenance.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Manage and refine monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure optimal system performance and visibility.
  • Continuously enhance our CI/CD tooling and infrastructure to accelerate delivery cycles and improve software quality.
  • Implement robust security measures and maintain compliance with industry best practices to safeguard our systems and data.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a collaborative development environment.
  • Provide technical support to platform users, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in both French and English is essential for this role.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar capacity.
  • Proven expertise in working within CI/CD environments, with a deep understanding of automation principles.
  • Strong proficiency in Docker, containerization technologies, and Kubernetes orchestration.
  • Excellent programming and scripting skills, enabling you to develop and maintain automated workflows.
  • In-depth knowledge of test integration processes and best practices.
  • A passion for innovation and a willingness to embrace emerging technologies.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and a collaborative approach to software development.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with GitLab CI, Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
  • Familiarity with secret management solutions like Vault.
  • Understanding of software development principles and API usage, particularly in Python.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL deployments within Kubernetes environments.
  • Knowledge of feature flag management tools such as Launch Darkly.
  • Solid understanding of network concepts, including firewalls and DNS.
