Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in a similar role
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
  • Analyze operational expenses and other relevant data.
  • Prepare and cook food regularly, as well as for special events and guests.
  • Plan and create menus that adhere to quality standards.
  • Requisition necessary food and kitchen supplies.
  • Coordinate equipment purchases and repairs.
  • Consult with clients for events such as weddings and banquets.
  • Direct food preparation and cooking activities across multiple dining establishments.
  • Prepare meals accommodating food allergies and dietary restrictions.
  • Recruit, hire, and train kitchen staff.
  • Supervise the activities of sous-chefs, specialty chefs, and cooks.
  • Train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling practices.
