Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapy Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Hand Therapy Program at SE Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with plastic and orthopedic surgeons to provide assessment, therapy, and education to individuals with upper extremity injuries or conditions.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans to optimize function and independence in everyday activities
  • Provide splinting, wound management, scar management, pain management, sensation retraining, strengthening, and range of motion exercises to improve hand function
  • Collaborate with plastic and orthopedic surgeons to provide assessment and treatment to patients in the hospital plastics and fracture clinics
Requirements:
  • Member in good standing of the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a Hand Therapy program, including supporting plastic surgeons in hospital plastics clinics
  • Reliable, flexible, and creative professional with excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a high-performance interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
