Clinical Facilities Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Facilities Planner to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our Strategic Planning department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to our patients and clients.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the master planning of clinical initiatives, consulting with clinical programs, hospital services, and user groups to identify clinical needs.
- Develop project charters, business cases, and functional programming documents to support clinical facilities planning.
- Assess clinical facilities requirements, reviewing benchmarks, research, and best practices to ensure identified needs are appropriate.
- Facilitate the approval of clinical facilities and strategic initiatives, incorporating project proponents into a submission document for funding approval.
- Provide work direction to project teams, ensuring assigned project activities and cost targets are followed and monitored.
- Bachelor's degree in a clinical health science discipline, supplemented with five years' recent related clinical experience.
- Two years' experience in a healthcare leadership role responsible for clinical planning of healthcare facilities or healthcare project management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare delivery systems, project management principles, and methodologies.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and evaluation skills, with ability to supervise and provide work direction to others.
