Position Overview

McIntyre Finishing Ltd. is seeking a skilled Carpenter Supervisor to oversee our construction projects. This role requires a strong leader who can manage a team effectively and ensure high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Report Preparation: Compile production and progress reports to track project milestones.
  • Team Supervision: Direct and oversee the activities of workers on-site.
  • Activity Coordination: Schedule and coordinate project tasks to ensure timely completion.
  • Cost Estimation: Assess and estimate the costs of materials and labor required for projects.
  • Work Scheduling: Develop methods to meet work schedules efficiently.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Material Requisition: Order necessary materials and supplies for ongoing projects.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a trades certificate or diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in construction.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Language: Proficiency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
