About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Kearl Mining Team as a Mine Progression Projects Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multiple civil projects, ensuring successful completion in line with civil portfolio objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project performance, including safety, quality, cost, and schedule.
  • Lead the development of key project deliverables, such as project plans and field installation work plans.
  • Serve as a key interface point for project-related inquiries, liaising with construction execution teams, contractors, discipline engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Support and monitor contractor and execution performance.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, investigations, and lessons learned workshops to enhance project performance.
About You

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in engineering, preferably in civil or mining disciplines. You should be enrolled in an engineering program and have a strong understanding of project management principles. Prior experience in project management, mining, or civil earthworks is an asset.

You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision. A high level of motivation, initiative, and ownership is required. You should also be willing to travel to the Kearl site as needed.
