Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Kinesiologist to join our team at the Orleans clinic. As a Kinesiologist, you will work collaboratively with clients to set and achieve functional goals, conduct biomechanical and fitness assessments, and design and implement graded exercise and work conditioning programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments under the mentorship and direction of a physiotherapist
  • Design, implement, and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning, and/or work hardening programs
  • Teach exercise classes to seniors in a Retirement Residence in Westboro
  • Perform biweekly reassessment of client progress through functional testing
  • Record functional and subjective findings in client charts on a regular basis
  • Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals
  • Conduct group orientation and education lectures and regular one-on-one education to clients
  • Complete functional components of reports for initial, progress, and discharge
  • Ensure return to work plans with client and employer have been made and documented in the client chart

Requirements:

  • Registered with the College of Kinesiology of Ontario
  • Graduate of university Kinesiology degree program
  • New licensed grad may apply
  • Preferably with 1-5 years of work experience specializing in Occupational Rehabilitation is considered an asset
