About the Role
As a School Bus Driver with First Student Canada-Transco, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school. Our team of professional drivers is dedicated to providing a reliable and efficient service, and we are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious individual to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students on board, providing support and assistance as needed.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain the highest standards of vehicle maintenance.
- Work collaboratively with other drivers and support staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license for at least 1 year.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- At least 21 years old.
- Undergo and pass a Ministry-prescribed medical examination and background checks.
