Job Description

The Management Development Trainee role at EMCO Corporation offers a unique opportunity to progress through a 4-phased program, learning every aspect of how our business operates. As a Management Trainee, you will grow a sales territory of your own and provide world-class customer service, receiving guidance, mentoring, and support from current managers and teammates.

Program Outline:
  • Phase 1: Warehouse and Customer Service (12-Months) – A focus on warehousing procedures, shipping and receiving, and counter support for customer transactions
  • Phase 2: Customer Relationships and Procurement (12-Months) – A focus on customer problem solving, relationship building with customers and vendors
  • Phase 3: Account Management and Proactive Sales (15-18 Months) - A focus on business development and sourcing sales, while expanding the customer base and creating stronger partnerships
  • Phase 4: Leadership and Operations (3-Months) - Developing leadership skills, supporting the team through coaching and mentoring, and setting vision and strategy for the business
Qualifications:
  • University degree or college diploma – all disciplines of study will be considered
  • Positive attitude and results-oriented mindset
  • Desire to continuously learn and grow
  • Excellent leadership, customer service, and organizational skills
  • Possess a strong work ethic and a high standard of integrity
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team setting
