About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at Boas Construction Ltd. as a key member of our woodworking production team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a range of woodworking machines, including power saws, jointers, mortisers, and shapers, to cut, shape, and form parts and components.
  • Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Utilize CADD and other computer software systems to streamline production processes.
  • Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units, reinforcing joints as needed.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of woodworking principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, on-the-road position, requiring the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. The successful candidate will be required to work 30 hours per week, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting production deadlines.

Language
