Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Public Relations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing our PR strategy, building and maintaining relationships with media professionals and journalists, and leading crisis communications management.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and contribute to our communications strategy, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and values.
- Develop and execute our PR strategy, communicating with relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure employees are informed and engaged in PR initiatives.
- Develop and maintain standards, guidelines, and procedures for corporate and branch public relations.
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists and media outlets to facilitate timely and effective public communications.
- Manage external public relations through press releases, corporate annual reports, and earned and paid media articles.
- Pitch news story ideas, coordinate interviews, and manage media inquiries to secure positive news and media coverage.
- Lead crisis communication planning, ensuring readiness of key spokespeople.
- Degree in business, communications, or marketing.
- Minimum years' experience in public relations and/or corporate communications.
- Experience building and maintaining proactive PR strategy.
- Experience in a fast-changing organization, with PR surrounding M&A initiatives a strong asset.
