About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Technologist to join our team at APTECH Technical Service. As a Mechanical Technologist, you will play a key role in assisting in the inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects, preparing design drawings and specifications, and carrying out mechanical tests and analyses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Prepare design drawings and specifications for mechanical installations and equipment.
  • Carry out mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials to ensure their quality and performance.
  • Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to design and develop mechanical systems and components.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for mechanical projects.
  • Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings, and specifications.
  • Supervise maintenance programs or operation of mechanical plants to ensure efficient and safe operation.
  • Test machines and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly and safely.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency in MicroStation and other CAD software.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
