Key Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple large-scale audits during our busy season from October to March.
- Act as the primary contact for a diverse range of clients, taking on the responsibilities of client relationship partner for an established portfolio.
- Expand your local and international client network through strategic promotion and networking opportunities.
- Gain exposure to various industries, including renewable energy, mining, and manufacturing, with audit engagements ranging from $6 million to $110 million in revenue.
- Plan and execute audits in accordance with Canadian and International Auditing standards for several Canadian subsidiaries reporting under ASPE and IFRS.
- Collaborate with Group Auditors from our international affiliations, including major multinational firms.
- Prepare reports on financial information adhering to various accounting standards such as German GAAP, Korean IFRS, and Italian GAAP.
- Engage with clients across Ontario and Canada.
- Utilize a variety of client accounting systems, including SAP, AS400, QuickBooks Online, and custom solutions.
- Supervise the consulting and tax requirements of local business owners and high-net-worth individuals.
Key Requirements
- Applicants must hold a CPA and possess a minimum of 8 years of public accounting and audit experience, or equivalent experience from alternative career paths.
- A Public Accounting License or the qualifications to obtain one is essential.
- Relevant experience, the ability to meet deadlines, and a professional approach to career development will be critical in our selection process.
- A willingness to lead a team of staff and students is vital for success in this position.
- Our firm employs Tax Prep, CCH Engagement, and QuickBooks as primary tools.
