Join Our Growing Procurement Team
We are seeking a dedicated individual to take on the role of Procurement Operations Supervisor within our dynamic Procurement team. This position is essential as we enhance our internal capabilities to better support our global operations.
The Procurement team, a vital part of our Finance department, is responsible for managing the lifecycle of contracts and vendors. This includes overseeing cost management and vendor relations while assisting various departments in planning, sourcing, selecting, managing, and negotiating a range of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily procurement activities
- Supervise a team of Procurement Coordinators and Technicians
- Ensure timely and accurate vendor management and contract administration
- Develop cost-effective procurement solutions
This role reports directly to the Manager of Strategic Sourcing and involves close collaboration with multiple teams and stakeholders across the organization to maintain efficient processes, ensure compliance, and support our overarching strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Approximately 4+ years of experience in procurement
- Strong technical skills and data proficiency
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Workday
- Experience in public procurement is an asset
Work Environment:
This position is based in our downtown office, with relocation support available if necessary. We promote a collaborative work culture while offering the flexibility to work remotely one day a week.
