About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our team at Amazon Development Centre Canada ULC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based software solutions that meet the needs of our enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop cloud-based software solutions using AWS services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software code, following industry best practices
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
  • Work with QA teams to identify and resolve defects
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation and knowledge base
Requirements
  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
