Bakery Products Packager Job Description

Goulding's Wholesale Limited is seeking a skilled Bakery Products Packager to join our team. As a key member of our packaging team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient packaging of our bakery products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Safety and Handling: Maintain a high level of food safety and handling skills to prevent contamination and ensure the quality of our products.
  • Transportation and Packaging: Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials to and from the packaging area.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
  • Packaging and Quality Control: Manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers, checking for basic quality defects and ensuring that products are properly labeled and packaged.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with process control and machine operators to ensure the smooth operation of our packaging processes.
Work Environment:

Our bakery products packager will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on quality and safety. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a hot and cold/refrigerated environment, with the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Repetitive tasks, manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
