As a Junior Accountant, your role will involve assisting the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, generating reports, and ensuring adherence to applicable regulations. This position is designed to provide practical experience in accounting while contributing to the seamless functioning of the organization's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain financial records.
  2. Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  3. Prepare financial reports.
  4. Ensure compliance and assist with auditing processes.
  5. Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  6. Provide general assistance as needed.
  7. Perform additional tasks that align with the objectives of the Accounting Department.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  2. Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and practices.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
  4. Experience with Crystal Reports or similar tools is advantageous.
  5. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  7. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  8. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  9. Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  10. Relevant internship or work experience in accounting or finance is preferred but not mandatory.
  11. Awareness of regulatory standards and requirements (e.g., GAAP) is beneficial.
  12. Willingness to engage in professional development opportunities, such as pursuing certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) or continuing education.
  13. Must possess a valid driver's license.
