Job Summary:
The successful candidate will work in the field as part of a team, assisting drillers with daily operations and performing tasks related to drilling and anchoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing safety checks and maintenance on equipment
- Setting up and operating drilling equipment
- Handling drill rods and casing
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Performing equipment maintenance and repairs
- Assisting drillers with hoses, drill steel, and cuttings
- Heavy lifting and physical labor
- Valid Class 5 driver's license required
- Attention to detail and safety protocols
- Ability to work in various environments and take instructions well
- Forklift and elevated work platform tickets considered an asset
Working Conditions:
The Drillers Assistant/Anchor Grouter will work primarily in the field, with some shop-related tasks. Field work will require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, steel-toed boots, and reflective vests. Other PPE may be necessary depending on the work site environment.
