Job Title: Project Engineer, APX/AP+

Join Trimble's Engineering team as a Project Engineer, APX/AP+, where you will lead systems engineering activities related to APX and AP+ products for UAV and OEM markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in product design and development, including involvement in embedded software design and development, electronics & mechanical design, navigation algorithm development, and hardware/software integration.
  • Perform system integration and testing throughout the development process to ensure function and performance meets product specifications under various real-world scenarios.
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software issues to isolate source of problems and defects and provide insight into solutions.
  • Be the engineering expert on APX and AP+ products to support integration questions and investigate problems from the field that are too technical for Customer Support.
  • Contribute content for user and operations manual as well as production documentation such as FPT and SAT.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering in one of the following areas: Engineering Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical, Computer Engineering, Aerospace.
  • Good understanding of systems engineering field – working with multi-sensor complex systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong understanding of real-time embedded systems & expertise in RTOS.
  • Knowledge of GNSS, inertial and sensor technology.
  • Team player and great communication and interpersonal skills are a MUST for this role. Good documentation skills.
