Servocraft Limited is a reputable and dependable HVAC and Electrical Construction and Engineering firm serving the industrial, commercial, and institutional sectors of the construction industry in the GTA and surrounding areas.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for analyzing documents, drawings, specifications, and addenda to prepare for pricing project change orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze documents, drawings, specifications, and addenda to prepare for pricing project change orders.
- Assist with pricing projects on which the Company is bidding.
- Develop a preliminary project construction schedule using MS Projects or other planning software.
- Prepare, monitor, and update construction budgets throughout the project.
- Assist with the preparation of delay claims when necessary.
- Ensure adherence to contract specifications by policies and procedures of the company.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of close-out documents for projects.
Requirements:
- Engineering background or University degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in construction project management is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret and analyze contract documents.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Computer skills and working knowledge of scheduling and various software programs are critical.
