Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Strategy and Planning
    • Develop and implement revenue strategies to maximize revenue opportunities for assigned hotels within the cluster.
    • Lead weekly revenue strategy meetings and assist in rate strategy planning.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Complete weekly and monthly revenue management reports for hotels within the cluster.
    • Develop and maintain revenue management-related tools and reports, including demand forecasting, pace, and market segmentation.
  • Relationship Building and Communication
    • Build and maintain relationships with third-party market managers to ensure maximum exposure opportunities.
    • Communicate effectively with sales, marketing, and distribution teams to ensure strategic decisions are made and implemented.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Maintain rate parity among all sites for assigned hotels within the cluster.
    • Cross-reference rates and packages to ensure accuracy.
    • Drive hotel market share and revenue performance through competitive analysis and STR data.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting
    • Facilitate top-line forecasting and budget planning for hotels within the cluster.
  • Project Management
    • Complete corporate revenue management-related projects as needed.
Requirements
  • Education
    • A post-secondary education in a tourism or hospitality field.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 1-2 years' revenue or reservations management experience in hotels is preferred.
    • Previous front office, reservations, or sales experience is a benefit.
  • Skills
    • Strong computer literacy on Excel, Hotel Concepts IDPMS/IDCRS is preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of Internet resources, browsers, and navigation.
    • Detail-oriented and numerical aptitude.
    • Ability to demonstrate analytical, decision-making, and negotiating skills.
    • Team player with key impact and influence skills.
    • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
    • Self-motivated and proven ability to work independently and as a team player.
    • Ability and desire to work under deadline pressures.
    • Comfortable with developing and delivering meetings to a variety of partners.
