As a Transportation Supervisor at ABS Trucking Ltd, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our fleet operations. Your leadership will ensure the smooth functioning of our logistics team while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years to less than 3 years in a supervisory role within the transportation sector.
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of truck drivers and logistics personnel.
- Provide training or arrange for the training of new staff members.
- Plan and schedule operational activities to optimize efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Make recommendations regarding personnel actions and performance evaluations.
- Manage the requisition and ordering of necessary materials, equipment, and supplies.
The role requires the ability to work under pressure while maintaining a focus on safety and operational excellence. The position is permanent, with a commitment of 35 hours per week.
Language RequirementsThe primary language of work is English.
