About the Role

Pax Immigration Consultant Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team. As a Legal Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our lawyers and staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Manage and distribute incoming mail and documents
    • Schedule and confirm appointments with clients and stakeholders
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems
    • Develop and implement office procedures and routines
  • Communication and Correspondence
    • Prepare and draft correspondence and legal documents
    • Ensure timely and accurate communication with clients and stakeholders
  • Financial and Technical Support
    • Assist with preparing financial statements and reports
    • Provide technical support for software applications, including MS Word, MS Office, and QuickBooks
  • Security and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with security and safety protocols
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced office environment with tight deadlines

Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
