About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Investigator, Corporate Security to join our team at Equitable Bank. As a key member of our Corporate Security team, you will be responsible for conducting complex investigations, analyzing data, and identifying fraud patterns to ensure the integrity of our financial services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough investigations into financial crimes, including money laundering, terrorist financing, and cyber-enabled crimes.
  • Analyze complex data and identify patterns to prevent and detect fraud.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and regulatory bodies to share intelligence and best practices.
  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats.
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on security protocols and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging threats to ensure our security measures remain effective.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in corporate security, fraud investigation, law enforcement, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in conducting and managing complex investigations, preferably in the financial services sector.
  • Demonstrated experience working with law enforcement agencies and regulatory bodies.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate complex data and identify patterns.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) - Issued by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
  • Certified Protection Professional (CPP) - Issued by ASIS International.
  • Certified Financial Crime Investigator (CFCI) – Issued by the IAFCI
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) - Issued by (ISC)2 for those focusing on cybersecurity.
  • Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) - Issued by ASIS International.
