Job Summary:
The Commission Scolaire Central Quebec / Central Quebec School Board is seeking a Student Supervisor to play a key role in creating a positive and respectful educational environment. As a Student Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that students behave in a way that is consistent with the values and rules of conduct established by our school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Supervision: Ensure a vigilant presence in the school to guarantee compliance with rules and student safety, by making regular rounds, intervening if necessary and reporting any anomalies.
- Student Support: Act as a point of contact for students and visitors, guiding them and providing clear information on school regulations.
- Academic Support: Help students in need of extra support in a caring manner, whether for eating in the cafeteria, getting dressed, or getting around.
- Collaboration with Educational Team: Work closely with the educational team to ensure that student activities run smoothly and are supervised, and that the necessary resources are available.
- Conflict Resolution: Intervene effectively in conflict resolution, provide first aid and contribute to safety in case of emergency, in collaboration with the disciplinary team, if necessary.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage room reservations, locker allocation and equipment monitoring.
- Absence Control: Actively participate in absence control according to established procedure and manage student attendance data.
- IT Tools: Use IT tools to carry out administrative tasks and monitor activities, as required.
