Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Fraser Health. As a Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients and collect information from various sources to inform nursing care and develop effective care plans.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote person-centered care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to empower them to manage their health and well-being.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure timely and effective care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved School of Nursing and current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
  • Two years of recent relevant clinical experience in the designated clinical area and completion of post-graduate coursework and/or certification applicable to the designated clinical area.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain accurate records.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
