About the Role

As an HR Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in supporting our dynamic teams across Canada Goose. You'll be a key contributor to fostering a positive and productive work environment while ensuring compliance with all relevant employment regulations.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with the HR Business Partner to implement and maintain comprehensive health and safety programs, prioritizing the well-being of our employees.
  • Partner with Managers to ensure job descriptions are accurate, up-to-date, and reflect current roles and responsibilities within the organization.
  • Administer employee perk programs, ensuring smooth operations and maximizing employee engagement.
  • Represent Canada Goose at career events, recruitment activities, and open houses, showcasing our brand and attracting top talent.
  • Manage referral bonus programs and assist in preparing reward statements, recognizing and rewarding employee contributions.
  • Provide comprehensive onboarding for new operations employees, guiding them through the integration process and ensuring a seamless transition into Canada Goose.
  • Create essential HR-related documents, including employment letters, promotion notifications, and termination forms, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Maintain the integrity of HRIS data, ensuring its currency and accuracy. Proactively suggest enhancements to streamline processes and improve system efficiency.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality and accuracy in handling all employee records, demonstrating professionalism and discretion at all times.
  • Drive and execute various HR initiatives and projects, contributing to the overall success of the HR department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability within a fast-paced environment.

About You:

  • Possess a degree in Business or Human Resources Management.
  • Have 2+ years of experience in an HR role, ideally within a similar industry.
  • Demonstrate expertise in health and safety practices, including experience with Joint Health & Safety Committees.
  • Exhibit a commitment to continuous professional development in the field of HR.
  • Possess a strong understanding of Canadian employment and Human Rights laws.
  • Be proficient in multiple HR competencies and standard procedures.
  • Demonstrate strong informal influencing and negotiation skills for engaging with both union and non-union staff.
  • Exhibit the ability to connect systems, processes, and people to drive positive change within the organization.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively under pressure.
  • Display excellent time management skills and flexibility in adapting to changing demands.
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail and dedication to accuracy in all tasks.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
  • Be a collaborative team player who values trust and integrity in relationships.
  • Embrace continuous improvement by actively suggesting enhancements to existing practices.
