About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Architect to join our team at TBD Architecture + Urban Planning. As an Architect, you will be responsible for designing and developing building plans and detailed drawings for various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Create building plans and detailed drawings to be used by contractors and tradespersons.
  • Client Consultation: Consult with clients to determine the type, style, and purpose of renovations or new building construction being considered.
  • Project Management: Manage the coordination and overall integration of technical activities in architecture or engineering projects.
  • Research and Analysis: Perform architectural research and analyze data to inform design decisions.
  • Site Monitoring: Monitor activities on construction sites to ensure compliance with specifications.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
  • Experience: Experience in architectural design and project management is an asset.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, MS Office, AutoCAD, Autodesk REVIT, and SketchUp.
  • Certifications: Membership in the Provincial Association of Architects and LEED certification offered by the Canada Green Building Council.

As an Architect at TBD Architecture + Urban Planning, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
