About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team at Jessy's Pizza. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas and other menu items to meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning: Plan and develop menus that meet the tastes and preferences of our customers, taking into account seasonal ingredients and dietary requirements.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to food safety and quality standards.
  • Kitchen Management: Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies and equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Staff Training: Train and supervise kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring that they meet our high standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
Work Environment

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a strong focus on customer satisfaction. They will also be physically demanding, with the ability to stand for extended periods and work under pressure.
