The University Health Network is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst III to join its Altum Health Finance team. As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing a broad scope of professional accounting activities, including financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business decision-making
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, and develop strategies to optimize financial performance
- Collaborate with senior finance management to evaluate business cases and prepare annual operating budgets
- Support the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
- Perform other duties consistent with the job classification, as required
- University degree in Business Administration or equivalent program
- 1-3 years' experience in large complex accounting or auditing environment with exposure to a range of accounting principles, practices and procedures
- Professional accounting designation (CPA), either completed or in final stages, OR relevant combination of education and experience
- Experience in financial planning and analysis, and financial modeling
- Advanced level Excel skills and working knowledge of SAP S4HANA
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to take initiative and embrace challenges
