Job Title: Financial Analyst III

Job Summary:

The University Health Network is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst III to join our Altum Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a broad scope of professional accounting activities, including financial planning, analysis, and reporting. You will work closely with senior finance management to evaluate business cases, prepare annual operating budgets, and provide financial insights to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, and develop strategies to improve financial performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and optimize financial operations
  • Provide financial guidance and support to business leaders and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • University degree in Business Administration or equivalent
  • 1-3 years' experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a large complex accounting or auditing environment
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA), either completed or in final stages, OR relevant combination of education and experience
  • Advanced level Excel skills and working knowledge of SAP S4HANA
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
