Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation, execution, and upkeep of the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO9001 standards.
- Conduct investigations, lead Root Cause Analysis, and assess the effectiveness of corrective measures.
- Coordinate corrective actions and activities with the Quality Team and departmental leaders.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and quality goals.
- Support the formulation and evaluation of procedures and work instructions.
- Prepare for and take a leading role in both internal and external audits.
- Provide manufacturing support regarding acceptability decisions.
- Ensure proper record maintenance and compliance with quality standards.
- Engage in the assessment and approval of suppliers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year in a quality-focused role or relevant post-secondary education.
- In-depth understanding of ISO9001:2015 quality standards, quality assurance terminology, and procedures.
- Internal Auditor Certification is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with root cause analysis, corrective actions, and risk assessment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and standards.
- Flexibility and adaptability to shifting priorities.
- Capacity to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively, both independently and within a team.
- Valid Ontario Driver's license required for travel between sites.
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
