Job Summary:
Stella's Circle is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Housing Officer - Community Development to join our team. As a key member of our community development team, you will be responsible for providing support and services to individuals and families in need of housing assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare reports and case histories to document client progress and needs
- Conduct follow-up assessments to ensure clients are receiving the necessary support
- Develop and implement programs to deliver specific services within the community
- Provide suicide and crisis intervention, as well as conflict resolution
- Liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive support
- Accompany clients to appointments and social outings
Requirements:
- College diploma or equivalent experience in a related field
- 2 years of experience in a community development or social services role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
