Position Overview

As a vital member of our Front of House team, Server Assistants play a crucial role in supporting Servers by ensuring that all tables are properly set, clean, and well-stocked. They maintain a keen awareness of the dining area and possess extensive knowledge of our food and beverage offerings. Server Assistants also assist in food delivery and uphold our high standards for food quality and presentation.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inquiries regarding menu items, beverages, and restaurant services as needed
  • Assist in food delivery, ensuring accuracy in serving to the correct guests
  • Maintain cleanliness in designated areas and ensure all materials are organized
  • Collaborate with Servers and Hosts to optimize seating arrangements
  • Exhibit a strong awareness of the dining environment, performing cleaning duties as necessary
  • Ensure condiments are pre-portioned and that fridges are stocked with essentials
  • Monitor food quality and adhere to presentation standards
  • Comply with all food safety regulations and protocols
  • Manage waste disposal and maintain cleanliness in service areas
  • Communicate guest feedback to Servers to enhance the dining experience
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Degree/Diploma in Hospitality or a related field is an asset
  • Provincial Liquor Certification
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while remaining composed
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Capability to follow directions and prioritize tasks
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • In-depth product knowledge
  • Ability to maintain a sense of urgency and momentum in service
