Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team at High End Plumbing & Heating Ltd. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Installation
    • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
    • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
    • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Pipe Fitting and Testing
    • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
    • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Pipe Sizing and Measurement
    • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
    • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
  • Work Environment and Physical Capabilities
    • Work in confined spaces, wet/damp environments, and various locations.
    • Physically demanding work, requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, hand-eye coordination, and handling heavy loads.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Able to work accurately, with a client-focused approach and efficient interpersonal skills.
    • Judgement and team player skills are essential.
