Roofing Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Assistant to join our team at NO. 1 SAFETY ROOFING. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient completion of roofing projects.
Key Responsibilities- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Measure and prepare materials for rigging and hoisting operations.
- Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials.
- Perform pre-operational inspections and maintain cranes in good working condition.
- Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
- Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
- Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
- Assist in demolishing buildings and cleaning up debris.
- Perform routine maintenance work and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
- Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
- 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Permanent employment with a 30-40 hour workweek.
- English language proficiency.
