Job Title: Senior Cybersecurity Platform Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Platform Engineer to join our team at Canada Goose. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our security measures to protect our data, systems, and networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade security measures to protect our organization's data, systems, and networks.
  • Understand and participate in the change management process.
  • Troubleshoot security and network problems.
  • Respond to all system and/or network security breaches.
  • Ensure that our data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls.
  • Test and identify network and system vulnerabilities.
  • Perform daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with relevant departments.
Requirements:
  • Industry certification such as SSCP, GSEC, CySA+, Blue Team Level 1, or ISACA CSX.
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a Cyber Security-related role.
  • Working technical knowledge of system vulnerability scanning and remediation.
  • Experience working with and administering Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Single Sign-On (SSO), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
  • Experience with Firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Office 365 Security, Palo Alto, and Endpoint Security.
  • Proficiency in Python, C++, Java, Ruby, Node, Go, and/or PowerShell.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
  • Great awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.
  • Demonstrate pro-active individual effectiveness and within team-oriented, collaborative environments.
