In this permanent, full-time position, you will be instrumental in managing cost oversight, project planning, and scheduling for a variety of initiatives within the mining, industrial, and infrastructure domains. Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer expert guidance, training, and assistance for cost management, project planning, and scheduling across multiple initiatives.
  • Evaluate and enhance technical standards, guidelines, and procedures to facilitate successful project execution.
  • Collaborate with management and clients to tackle specific project control challenges, including establishing project timelines, cost management systems, and reporting frameworks.
  • Develop and uphold project control protocols, tools, and systems for earned value management, cash flow analysis, forecasting, and schedule oversight.
  • Assist in business development efforts by contributing to proposals and client presentations.
  • Conduct quality audits of project controls and create training programs aimed at continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with various teams to generate project cost and scheduling reports, manage budgets, and oversee project change processes.

Required Qualifications:

A minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in EPC/EPCM projects, emphasizing cost management, project planning, and scheduling. A degree in a relevant field is required, along with advanced skills in Primavera P6, Microsoft Office Suite, and Visio. A comprehensive understanding of project control principles, including budget formulation, cost management, scheduling, and progress tracking is essential. Experience across all phases of the project lifecycle, with the capability to work autonomously and manage tasks with minimal oversight. Strong communication skills, demonstrating the ability to produce high-quality, precise outcomes.
