Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at 14436831 CANADA INC. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and organized dining area.
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure a well-stocked and visually appealing food display.
  • Take customers' orders and serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Handle and store cleaning products and supplies in a safe and organized manner.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to prepare for food service.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a 32-40 hour workweek. The language of work is English.
