About the Role

IMT Precision is seeking a dedicated full-time Inventory Coordinator to enhance our inventory management processes. This role is crucial in ensuring that our inventory systems operate smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and monitor inventory levels during material transfers and issues across various locations.
  • Utilize both manual and computerized systems to generate comprehensive inventory reports, facilitating production operations.
  • Manage material replenishment and maintain optimal stock levels to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) methods for effective stock rotation.
  • Record data for inventory adjustments and reconcile physical counts with system records.
  • Address material flow issues promptly within the facility and with subcontractors.
  • Document Cycle Count journals in the inventory management system.
  • Support production needs by providing raw materials and packaging supplies to operational points.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess at least 1 year of experience in inventory management or a related field, with a preference for those holding a Post-Secondary degree in logistics or supply chain management. Candidates with significant experience and a high school diploma will also be considered.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level or higher.
  • Understanding of materials management procedures.
  • Experience with inventory control and cycle counting methodologies.
  • Familiarity with warehousing, shipping, and receiving operations.
  • Ability to effectively utilize both manual and computerized inventory systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Capacity to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to work additional hours as required by business needs.

Compensation and Benefits:
