Position Overview

As a Financial Record Specialist at VisaWorks Canada Ltd., you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization. Your expertise in bookkeeping will ensure that our financial records are accurate and up-to-date.

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare payroll cheques
  • Maintain and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Oversee general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries accurately
  • Generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports as needed
  • Prepare and file tax returns
  • Reconcile financial accounts
Technical Proficiencies
  • Proficient in accounting software
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel
  • Experience with QuickBooks
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Xero
