Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Lead BIM Technician to assist our engineering teams in creating comprehensive working models and detailed drawings utilizing Revit and AutoCAD within our Civil & Structural Departments. The successful candidate will demonstrate the capability to operate independently while effectively coordinating models with both internal and external design collaborators, including Architects and Building Services professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the BIM Manager in ensuring compliance with company, client, and project-specific BIM standards, methodologies, and procedures.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering their professional development.
  • Engage in a diverse array of projects, including but not limited to Energy, Residential, Commercial, and Pharmaceutical sectors.

Essential Qualifications

  1. A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the field.
  2. Expertise in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and other modeling software for producing both 2D and 3D designs.
  3. Familiarity with CADS-RC and Navisworks is advantageous but not mandatory.
  4. Experience within the Irish or UK markets is a significant plus.
  5. Ability to thrive under pressure and meet project deadlines effectively.
  6. Strong understanding of client requirements and proficient time-management skills.
  7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  8. A collaborative team player.
  9. Extensive experience in General Arrangement, Steel, Reinforcement, Masonry, and Timber detailing.
